These therapist self-care tips will not only be beneficial to my health,
but yours as well.

Deep tissue massage may cause a breakout to sensitive skin.
I believe each pore is affected by the tightness of fascia which is why stress really does affect breakouts. Stretching after your session is a must-do! With the major tension release I get through my therapy it sometimes can leave muscles in limbo. Making it easier to pull a muscle during any strenuous or active activities. Stretching after your session will help to prevent this from happening.

This is also why water is very important. I have made up an exercise for my clients that will help your body absorb the most water at one time. Allowing the fascia and muscles almost immediately restore back to normal, helpful, positive functioning. It is very simple. Gargle warm water. That is all you have to do. 3 times a day is best to start. Then slowly down to first thing you do in the morning to the last thing you do at night before bed. After your body is fully hydrated, I am still working on this one but it seems you may be able to minimize it to just when you shower or once a day however you get the process done. I have only received rave reviews about this process. You WILL thank me :)!
